Nominator's project description
| Professor O’Hair is an internationally renowned chemist, whose work has greatly helped in the elucidation of reaction mechanisms. He specializes in the use of mass spectrometry for investigating the chemistry of organometallic complexes at unprecedented detail. The insight obtained by his innovative approach contributes to a better understanding of important catalysts. In Germany, he plans to employ ion-mobility measurements as a new method for probing the structure of reactive organometallic ions in the gas phase. |
